Individual
Membership Individual membership
privileges are open to MCG students, faculty, staff, retirees, and
alumni. In addition, MCGHI employees and other MCG affiliated
groups, as well as employees and alumni of Augusta State University
and employees of the Augusta VA Medical Center and Walton
Rehabilitation Hospital, are extended membership privileges.
Membership is not available to the general public. PROOF of
employment, student or alumni status is required at the time of
purchase and upon any membership renewal. Members may extend
privileges to others through a Joint or Family membership
option.
Family
Membership Family membership includes
full access for the member and
spouse/domestic partner, and limited access for all dependent
children 6-18 years of age. Children are only permitted to be in the
facility during the following time frame: Fridays 6-10 pm; Saturdays
9 am-5 pm; and Sundays 1-5 pm.
Student
Memberships
Students who
are enrolled for six or more credit hours per semester are
automatically charged the Wellness Center fee ($70.00 fall/spring semester,
$30.00 summer).
Students who are enrolled for five hours or less or who are not
enrolled for summer semester must pay the Wellness Center fee at the
Cashier's office.
Student Family
Membership Student
Family memberships are charged in addition to the mandatory
student fee.
Daily Guest
Passes Members may
sponsor two guests per day. Guests must be accompanied by the member
while in the facility. Individuals who are eligible for membership
but not wishing to join for an extended period may self-sponsor.
Eligible non-members are not permitted to sponsor additional guests.
Guest passes can only be purchased with personal check or
credit/debit card.
ID Badge/Facility
Access All
students and members must present their MCG or Wellness Center ID to
enter the facility. This policy is enforced without exception. Joint
members without a MCG or MCGHI badge will be provided a membership
card at no cost. Replacement Wellness Center ID badges can be made
for $10.00 (if lost or stolen).
Monthly Payroll Membership
The rate indicated above is
the monthly requirement. A 12-month minimum commitment is required.
Fees and services will continue after 12 months unless canceled by
the member. Payment will be made on a monthly basis via payroll
deduction. Please see the Payroll Deduction Agreement Membership
Terms and Conditions for complete details. Payroll deduction (for
both monthly and bi-weekly) is available for MCG, MCGHI and PPG
employed individuals only. Employees who receive bi-weekly paychecks
will be charged a pro-rated amount for each pay period.
Monthly Flex Membership
The rate indicated above is the monthly requirement. Payment will be made either on a monthly basis via credit/debit card or made in full for the amount of requested time via personal check or credit/debit card. Fees and services will continue until the member provides thirty (30) days written notice to the Wellness Center. Other conditions apply. 1 Month or 12 Month Standard
Memberships
The rate indicated above is
for the entire length of the membership term. All one-month
memberships expire 30 days from purchase. All annual memberships
expire the exact date of purchase one year later. Payment for the
full amount must be made with a personal check, credit card or debit
card. Monthly payment options are not permitted on 12 month
