The MCG Office of Media Relations works to provide the news media with timely, relevant information about MCG's research, educational and faculty activities and to meet the media's requests for information.

The office works closely with the MCG Health, Inc., public relations staff, which handles media coverage of the clinical work of MCG physicians within the MCG Health System.

Media Relations Director Toni Baker (706-721-4421), is the university's primary liaison with the media and handles faculty and basic science news for the Schools of Medicine and Graduate Studies.

Media Relations Coordinator Jennifer Hilliard (706-721-8604) handles faculty and clinical research news for the School of Medicine.

Media Relations Specialist Amy Connell (706-721-8605) handles Student and Educational news for MCG's five Schools of Allied Health Services, Dentistry, Graduate Studies, Medicine and Nursing, such as innovative curriculum changes, increases in class size and student features.

Media Relations Specialist Paula Hinely (706-721-3646) handles news and information about the Schools of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry and Nursing.

Office Specialist Mary Crowley (706-721-8598) disseminates the news to media outlets and provides other administrative support.
