When I give through payroll deduction, are my dollars pretax?
No. These dollars can be written off as a nonprofit gift at the end of the year just as the one time gifts given by check or credit card.

Do I need to turn in my card if I am not able to give this year?
Yes. We are not being coercive. We just want to know you’ve had the opportunity to make a decision.

What is a perpetual giver? And am I a perpetual giver?
A perpetual giver is someone who would like their gift to continue from one year to the next. The gift would stay the same amount and go to the same fund. If you are not sure if you are a perpetual giver, please feel free to email teammcg@mcg.edu.

How much did I give last year and what fund did I give to?

What is the difference between the State Campaign and TEAM MCG?
There are two organized “on campus” campaigns. In October/November the State Charitable Campaign takes place which allows you the opportunity to give back to the community and the TEAM MCG 08 campaign which allows you the opportunity to give back to the Medical College of Georgia take place in the February/March timeframe.
Can I choose where my dollars are going to go?
Yes. You have the option to give to an area on campus or to a specific department. Please see the pledge sheet, the fund brochure, or go online at website http://www.mcgfoundation.org/funds/funds.pdf for more choices.

Can I be recognized as a President’s Club member by giving through TEAM MCG?
