Team MCG is an annual campaign enabling employees of MCG and the Physicians Practice Group to make a financial contribution to the university. An investment in MCG is a tangible expression of support that encourages external donations while ensuring the university’s cutting-edge excellence and long-term prosperity.

Everyone’s participation in Team MCG is essential. Here’s why:

Foundations and corporations use employee giving as a critical indicator of commitment to an institution and its goals. From our perspective, we may believe long hours and hard work reflect dedication that far outweighs financial commitment. But grant-making organizations feel more comfortable directing money to institutions whose people invest in their own future.

The higher the percentage of employee financial support, the higher the probability that MCG will receive much-needed grant funding in the future while addressing immediate needs, such as support for individual schools, departments or facilities. Regardless of your level of support, your participation matters a great deal. One-hundred percent Team MCG participation will clearly demonstrate employee commitment to MCG and generate external funding for our campus programs and projects—an investment that benefits us all.
