Special Events Planning

The Office of Special Events at the Medical College of Georgia is responsible for the planning and coordination of MCG Presidential, University Advancement and Alumni Affairs events that showcase the institution to the public both on and away from campus.

These events include annual events (homecoming, the president's dinner gala, etc...), special one-time events (the dedication of a new facility, inauguration of a president or the celebration of an anniversary) and events targeting a specific audience (donor recognitions, legislative relations days, academic chair investiture ceremonies, regional alumni receptions, regional alumni board meetings, continuing education/relationship-building alumni weekend retreats, etc...).

Each year the Office of Special Events is responsible for managing more than one hundred special events for MCG.
