Ms.
Morin, who earned a master of health education degree in occupational
therapy from MCG in 1981, is working in private practice in Augusta and
is president of CTM Occupational Therapy, LLC, specializing in
evaluating and treating children with sensory-processing disorders. She
is founder and president of Blue Ribbon Riders, Inc., a non-profit
therapeutic riding/hippotherapy program for children with special-needs,
which she operates at her farm in Grovetown, Ga.
Ms. Morin was named Outstanding Occupational Therapist of Georgia by the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association in 1993, and received two awards from the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association: the James Brady Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement in 1991 and the Region 5 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award in 1998. She is a member of the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association, American Hippotherapy Association and American Hippotherapy Certification Board.
Ms. Morin served on the faculty in the MCG Department of Occupational Therapy from 1980-86. She served as director and later manager of occupational therapy at MCG Hospital and Clinics from 1987-99.
