2005 Distinguished Alumnus Award Recipient: Andrea Garr Koppelmann, M.S., RHIA

Andrea Garr Koppelmann is currently an instructor in the MCG Department of Health Informatics and since 2004 she is the product manager for McKesson Corporation - Atlanta, GA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health information management from MCG (1993). She served as health care informatics administrator at North Fulton Regional Hospital - Roswell, GA (1996-97) and was the marketing manager and health care solutions manager for Lanier Healthcare - Atlanta, GA (1997-2000). Ms. Koppelmann received the Georgia Health Information Management Association’s 2003 Distinguished Service Award and the Greater Atlanta Health Information Management Association’s Outstanding Member Award in 1998 and 1999.
