2003 Distinguished Alumnus Award Recipient: Charles R. Hall, Sr.The 2003 Distinguished Alumnus Award recipient is Charles R. Hall, Sr., 1994 summa cum laude graduate of the School of Allied Health Sciences Department of Respiratory Therapy and past president of the School of Allied Health Sciences Alumni Association. In 1999 he earned a master's degree in Allied Health Sciences from MCG.
Mr. Hall is the director of Clinical Education for MCG’s Department of Respiratory Therapy. He devotes his time to providing optimal patient care, developing the best clinical opportunities for students and striving to advance the field of respiratory therapy through active participation in professional and educational associations.
He has received numerous awards and honors including the 1999 William F. Miller, M.D. Postgraduate Education Recognition Award and the 1999 Excellence in Research Award for graduate student research. He was included in the 1994 and 1999 editions Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities. Mr. Hall was elected as a faculty member to the Alpha Eta Honor Society in 1998. He volunteers with Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, Paine College’s Upward Bound Program and numerous MCG and community charity events.
