Not only can you
see one of the southeast's finest medical centers, you'll find Closer
Look
Tours are designed to meet your needs in choosing a career.
Closer Look Tours are designed for individuals who are still exploring career choices and want to take a first-hand, no obligation look at the field. They are also for those who may have decided on a health career, and just want to check out The Medical College of Georgia. Come look us over, then decide if we'll meet your needs.
Closer Look Tours give both pluses and minuses of a career
field.
Our tours are guided by students or admissions
counselors who understand that you want objective information. We respect
the fact that you must decide for yourself what you'll do with your life.
Of course, we do believe we have some excellent career opportunities and
are not hesitant to say so!
Closer Look Tours show you what the field you are exploring is like and include:
- a look at the MCG campus
- time with students and/or professionals in their actual work settings
- time to review admissions requirements and academic programs
You'll be able to look at one or more of these outstanding health career fields

Closer-Look Tours are scheduled on these Fridays in 2008:

All tours begin at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center. If you're looking at just one field, plan to stay until 3 p.m. Those looking at two fields should plan on finishing at 4 p.m.
When you come, be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes (and bring an umbrella in case of rain). Feel free to bring a friend or parents.

Since we know it's
not easy to make career decisions, admissions counselors are available to
help you. To schedule an appointment, call us at (706) 721-2725 or
(800) 519-3388. Appointments may be scheduled any working day from 8
a.m.-5 p.m. If you want an appointment on the same day as a Closer
Look
Tour, call us as early as possible, after we've had time to receive your
card, since only a limited number can be accommodated on tour days.
