Steps for the VA Benefits Enrollment Certification Process at MCG

• Contact the Medical College of Georgia Veterans Affairs Certifying Official
• For new VA applicants, determine what chapter you are receiving VA benefits and provide your discharge papers.
• For Continuing VA students, please provide your name and PULSE ID number to the MCG Veteran's Affairs Certifying Official after you have registered for each term.
• Notify the Medical College of Georgia Veterans Affairs Certifying Official of any changes, even if you believe it does not impact your VA Benefits.
• Notify the Medical College of Georgia Veterans Affairs Certifying Official should you drop a course or withdraw from school.

 

Questions regarding eligibility and payment or monthly rates should be directed to the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office.

20-572 Request for Change of Address/Cancellation of Direct Deposit

• For all chapters of Medical College of Georgia students who have an address change.  Complete and mail the change of address form to the Department of Veterans' Affairs or call 1-888-GiBill-1.  In addition, please notify the Medical College of Georgia Certifying Official.

22-1990 Application for Education Benefits

• For new applicants of all chapters except CH 35.
• Document needed from CH 30, 32, and 34 - DD214
• Document needed from CH 1606 - Notice Of Basic Eligibility (NOBE)

22-1990t Application and Enrollment Certification For Individualized Tutorial Assistance

• 38 U.S.C. Chapters 30, 32 or 35 and 10 U.S.C. Chapter 1606

22-1995 Request for Change of Program or Place of Training

• For students under all chapters, except Ch31, who are transferring VA benefits to the Medical College of Georgia.
