2009 - 2010 SGA Committees

Art/Culture Committee

This committee schedules, plans, and promotes art and cultural events for MCG students and the MCG community.  It also works to support programs implemented by the MCG Arts Council.

Budget Committee

This committee administers the yearly SGA budget and prepares a budget for the use of the Student Activity Fee.

Community Service Committee

This committee scedules, plans, and promotes community service events and activities that will benefit the community.

Entertainment Committee

This committee schedules, plans, and promotes monthly social events for MCG students and the MCG community.

Intramurals/Athletic Committee

This committee works closely with the Associate Director of Fitness and Recreation to schedule, plan, and promote recreational events for MCG students and the MCG community. 

Student Health Advisory Committee

This committee works with the Medical Director of Student Health Services to ensure that Student Health Services and the mandatory student health insurance meet the health needs of MCG students.

Technology Committee

This committee participates in the evaluation of proposals for the use of the Student Technology Fee; it also communicates student concerns regarding technology to MCG Information Technology Support Services. 

Wellness Center Committee

This committee participates in the decision-making process regarding the appropriation of the Wellness Center Fee.
