Entering MCG Summer 2007
If you are entering MCG for the first time in Summer 2007 and need financial assistance, you must apply for financial aid for both financial aid years. Summer 2007 is included in the 2006-2007 financial year and Fall 2007, Spring 2008, and Summer 2008 are included in the 2007-2008 financial aid year.
NOTE: When completing Step 3, if you have already applied for financial aid at your previous institution during the 2006-2007 financial aid year, you should add the MCG Title IV School Code, 001579, to your 2006-2007 FAFSA and make any necessary corrections.

Step C: Read the Georgia HOPE Scholarship Eligibility requirements
APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID FOR SUMMER 2007
- Complete the 2006-2007 MCG Student Financial Aid Application
- If you will not have a Bachelor's degree or higher when you enter MCG
and meet all other HOPE Scholarship eligibility requirements
2a. Complete the 2006-2007 HOPE Questionnaire
2b. If you are ONLY Applying for the HOPE Scholarship
Complete the Georgia HOPE Scholarship and Grant
Application and Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant
Application (Formally the HOPE Alternative Application)
and skip to Step 4. - Complete the 2006-2007 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID FOR
FALL 2007, SPRING 2008 AND
SUMMER 2008
Complete each of the steps below
- Read How to Apply for Financial Aid Instructions
- Complete the 2007-2008 MCG Financial Aid Application (interactive)
- If you will not have a Bachelor's degree or higher when you enter your
program in the School of Allied Health
- Read the Georgia Hope Scholarship Eligibility requirements
- Complete the 2007-2008 HOPE Questionnaire
- If you are ONLY Applying for the HOPE Scholarship
Complete the 2007-2008 HOPE Questionnaire AND the GSFA Hope Application. (Completion of the MCG application is still required, but completion of the Preferred Lender list is not required if only applying for the HOPE Scholarship.)
- Complete the 2007-2008 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- If you are a first time MCG Stafford Loan Borrower, complete the on-line Loan Entrance Counseling.
Submit the applications from Steps 2a and 2b to:
