• MCG students will be required by Public Safety to show their MCG ID and a document indicating proof of age, such as a driver's license. • Each MCG student will be permitted to have one guest, but the guest must be of legal age. Each guest must also show proof of age. Students must register their guest with Public Safety and be responsible for actions of the guest. No children will be allowed. • MCG students who are underage will be allowed in TGIF events, but will not be given access to alcoholic beverages. Underage students must register with Public Safety upon entering the event. • Students over the legal age will be issued some type of age identification (wrist band) by Public Safety at the door and will be expected to display it before getting an alcoholic drink. • Any individual who serves an underage person an alcoholic beverage breaks the law and is subject to prosecution. • Beverages and/or beverage containers from outside are not permitted in the TGIF area. • Cups and/or cans will not be permitted outside the event and must be discarded before leaving. • Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. • The breathalyzer test will be available at the door for those who want to monitor the status of their blood alcohol content. • All TGIF events will be free at the door. • All TGIF events will conclude no later than 12:00 midnight. The serving of alcohol will be terminated one-half hour prior to the end of each event.
• Public Safety will
help arrange transportation for anyone who feels uncomfortable driving after the
event. |
