Student Technology Fee

The Student Technology Fee (STF) is one of the four mandatory student fees paid by students at the Medical College of Georgia, and the STF is the only one of the mandatory fees that is not budgeted and administered by a business unit of the Medical College.

The Mandatory Student Fee Committee solicits proposals for the use of the Student Technology Fee and recommends to the President and the Provost which proposals should be funded. Academic departments, schools, and administrative/academic support units may request funding for projects. Funding priorities will be based on the Student Technology Fee Procedures and Guidelines, and individuals wishing to submit proposals should study the Procedures and Guidelines carefully. The overall purpose of the Student Technology Fee is to increase student access to learning.

All proposals for Student Technology Fee funding must include a completed Student Technology Fee (STF) Project Proposal and a completed Budget for Student Technology Fee Proposal.

Questions regarding the Student Technology Fee or the Mandatory Student Fee Committee should be directed to the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services at 706-721-0955.
