  SONAT Association of Nursing Students (SANS)

Welcome to the SONAT Association of Nursing Students (SANS) web page. SANS is a professional organization that aims to promote a high quality of health care through enhancing nursing education, providing programs of professional interest and concern, and to aid in the development of the whole person…we are here for you! Through our programs and involvement within our communities, we provide leadership skills to aid you as a future nurse.

 

SANS is a local chapter of the Georgia Association of Nursing Students, a state branch of the National Student Nurse Association (NSNA). The NSNA is made up of registered nursing students throughout the country, and SONAT students who join automatically become members of GANS and SANS. Through this affiliation, students can stay abreast of current political issues related to nursing and healthcare, participate in focus sessions, and network with health care providers and, graduate nursing programs, and community service organizations.
