Dr. Adam and her team are applying proteomics techniques to facilitate the discovery of critical prostate cancer-associated biomarkers, to improve early detection of the aggressive malignant phenotype of prostate cancer, identify early disease progression, assist the urologist in determining the best treatment option, and possibly serve as drug targets for the employment of novel therapeutic strategies.
