Information for Patients and Consumers
The Department of Psychiatry plays an active role in consumerism and mental health advocacy. Several of our faculty are on the boards of local, regional, and national advocacy/support organizations. Our faculty regularly participate in community educational events. Many serve as consultants to the local newspaper and media on topics of interest in mental health.
