As you browse our website and if you are a prospective resident candidate who will read the letters from our residency training directors, I hope you will be impressed by the success and momentum of our programs. You will see that we have a wonderful new building for our department - a clear indication of our department's success and its support by our institution. This is further detailed in the Chairman’s Departmental Synopsis for Resident Applicants 2009-2010.  Also, please familiarize yourself with the many nationally renowned activities going on in our department. As you will see, several of our faculty (e.g., Dr. Sandra Sexson and Dr. Brian Kirkpatrick) are leaders in education and research. They and others lead national committees, are funded investigators, and publish in major journals. If we have missed something or you wish to learn more, call us!
