The Rainey Research Laboratory is located in the Interdisciplinary Research Facility at
the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) main campus in Augusta, Georgia.
MCG makes great efforts to integrate research, education, and healthcare. The eight research
buildings, including a new Cancer Research Center and three hospitals are key in fueling
research and training students in the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Allied Health,
and Graduate Studies.
The Medical College of Georgia has a wide variety of research underway. The Rainey Research
Lab focuses on the study of adrenal steroid production. Ultimately, the Rainey Laboratory
seeks to define the role of the adrenal gland in normal physiology as well as endocrine diseases.
