Additional presentations usually related to the major topic and updates, are also given by departmental faculty. This symposium is jointly sponsored by the Department of Pathology and the Georgia Association of Pathologists. Fares John Annual Housestaff Poster Competition This poster competition is held each spring in connection with the Postgraduate Pathology Symposium. Poster exhibits are invited from pathology residents and fellows from this institution and outside the institution. Pathology Tutorials These tutorials are held annually or biannually on selected topics and are designed to give small groups extensive exposure to a relatively narrow subject area in an informal, yet structured setting. Augusta Regional Pathology Society This pathology society meets three times a year at which time presentations and discussions of interesting cases are given by departmental faculty and housestaff as well as community pathologists.
