| Fellowships in Pathology The Student Fellowship Program in Pathology offers opportunities similar to the elective program. The main difference between a fellowship and an elective is that students signing up for a fellowship receive credit toward requirements of the American Board of Pathology for specified short-tem fellowships and for full-year fellowships in pathology, but they do no receive credit toward graduation. Appointment of student fellows in pathology is made by the chairman upon recommendation of the faculty member sponsoring the fellow. Fellowship stipends are given to students according to the length of the fellowship.
