The Editorial Office of the Department of Neurosurgery is dedicated to teaching and educating our patients and our medical colleagues about the exciting things that are going on within the walls of the MCG Department of Neurosurgery, as well as to promote the skills and the specialized training of our fine neurosurgeons.

One of the main ways we do this is through the medical art and animation, internally generated, that is published in national journals, in patient literature available in our clinics, and in our semi-annual newsletters.

Please feel free to browse our online gallery of medical illustration and animation below for a sampling of the kinds of illustrative and medical work MCG Medical Center is involved with.  If you need to access our Medical Illustration Department (a branch of the Editorial Office), the calendar below will show a comprehensive list of:

--works-in-progress
--anticipated completion dates of those works-in-progress
--requests "on the docket"

Please check back often, as we update this link frequently!

The MCG Neurosurgery and Neurology staff are most welcome to request work from the Editorial Office.  Web updates, image prep for Journal publication, graphic design requests (certificates, invitations, etc.) and many other small jobs are given priority and are not listed in the calendar below because they usually don't take very long to fill.
