ACNS02B3 -- A Children’s Oncology Group Protocol for Collecting & Banking Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Specimens

The purpose of this research study is to enable the collection of specimens for all biological studies requiring brain tumor tissue from patients treated at COG institutions. As a general banking protocol, the intent of ACNS02B3 is to create a mechanism through which all biological specimens can be collected under a single informed consent, thus avoiding the necessity of obtaining multiple informed consents at the time of tissue acquisitions.


Eligibility

Patients may be eligible for this trial if:

  • Any age (No age limit)
  • Brain tumor biological specimens can be obtained, derived from primary tumors of the CNS
  • Blood sample can be submitted along with tissue
