The division of rheumatology and adult allergy offers comprehensive evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric rheumatologic and adult allergic diseases. Four full-time adult physicians and one part-time pediatric physician offer services to patients through the MCG Hospital and Clinics, the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, and the Children’s Medical Center.
A fully accredited rheumatology fellowship is offered through the section of rheumatology and two rheumatology fellows are integral members our patient care team. Diseases commonly treated include rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, and asthma. Patients interested in being evaluated are accepted on referral only. All patients seen in our clinics are expected to have a primary care physician to return to upon completion of our evaluation.
