Pulmonary Vascular Disease
Introduction
The Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program at the Medical College of Georgia
is a multidisciplinary program that manages all types of diseases that
affect the pulmonary blood vessels. These include
pulmonary hypertension (PH) of all
causes, pulmonary embolism
(PE),
pulmonary arteriovenous malformations
(PAVM) and
hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia
(HHT). The program is directed by
Dr. James R. Gossage, who has been managing patients with pulmonary
vascular disease for over 16 years. The program also includes a
multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff that allows
us to manage even the most complex patient.
