Preparing Images for the Web

Images for the web are normally 72 DPI, much lower than the 300 DPI normally required for print. It is often helpful (when the image needs touch-ups), to begin with a larger file first and reduce it just before publishing to the web. When possible, please send a 300 DPI file rather than a smaller one.

The Web provides a great opportunity to publish movies. From imaging studies to original animations, the internet provides a fantastic way to educate your audience. CVMI has many tools available to edit video and create original animations.

If you are in Cardiology or Cardiovascular Biology and you need assistance with image preparation, please contact Michael Konomos at 1-0605. For all other requests please contact VID.
