Check-in:  Students should contact Dr. Greene for housing check-in.  The phone number is (706) 754-5511.  Keys will be given when you report for your rotation.  If you have questions prior to arriving for the rotation you can call Whitney Willis at (770) 533-6866 or email at whitney.willis@nghs.com.  Students should not show up at the preceptor's office without making arrangements.

What to bring:  Students must supply all personal items such as towels, all toiletries, etc.  Sheets and blankets are available but you are welcome to bring your own (single beds).  Basic kitchen utensils and dishes are supplied.  There is a phone, TV, VCR, computer and exercise equipment for your use.

Telephone:  Students have access to a phone for local calls during office hours.  Students are responsible for their long distance calls.  Please use a phone card or a credit card to make any long distance calls from the office during office hours.  It is recommended that students bring a personal cell phone to make all calls after office hours.

Maintenance:  Sharon should be notified about any maintenance issues.  Please remember that while this is your apartment during your stay in Demorest you are a guest to Habersham Primary Care and the Foothills AHEC.  Please leave the apartment clean and neat.  You will be responsible for keeping the apartment clean while you are there.  A fee will be charged if the apartment is left in an unsatisfactory manner.  Pleas do not take any items that belong to the apartment.  No pets are allowed in the apartment.  The apartment is a drug-free environment.  Cleaning will be done between students.

FYI:  THE OFFICE HAS AN ALARM WITH MOTION DETECTORS THAT ARE ON AT NIGHT - ONLY ENTER AND LEAVE THE BUILDING FROM THE OUTSIDE DOOR TO THE STAIRS - SHARON WILL SHOW YOU ON THE FIRST DAY!

Check-out:  When leaving the rotation, please check out with the Foothills AHEC staff via phone and return your keys to Dr. Greene.  In the event Dr. Greene are not available students may leave the keys in the break room at Dr. Greene's office.  Students rotating with Dr. Hatchet make sure to arrange for your key return prior to your leaving.
