Welcome to the Three Rivers
AHEC region of west central Georgia. We are pleased to have been instrumental
in establishing this housing site for the Medical College of Georgia and look
forward to your arrival for clinical training in LaGrange. We will strive to
make your clinical experience and housing in LaGrange as fulfilling as
possible.

Students completing rotations in LaGrange will
have the opportunity for housing in the dorms at
LaGrange College. Descriptions and
information regarding the dorms is provided below.
Dorm Rules: please be advised that alcohol is prohibited on campus.
LaGrange College is a smoke free campus. Pets of any kind are not
permitted.

Students staying at LaGrange College will either be housed in Henry Hall or Hawkins Hall.
Henry Hall Information: Henry Hall is the largest of the dorms
on campus. Each suite has two bedrooms and a connecting bathroom.
There is a maximum of four students to a suite. Although there is no
kitchen in the room, the room can accommodate a small fridge and microwave.
There are telephone connections but telephones must be supplied by the
residents. There are high-speed internet connections in the rooms as
well as a computer lab in the building. Residents must bring their own
personal items such as linens for single bed,
pillows, blankets, towels, wash cloths, etc.
Hawkins Hall Information: Hawkins
Hall is configured in an "apartment" format. There are four separate
bedrooms and a connecting bath for each two bedrooms. There is a
kitchen with a standard fridge and a stove. Students may bring their
own cooking utensils and small appliances. There is also a living room
common are in the middle of the apartment. There are telephone
connections but telephones must be supplied by the residents. There
are high-speed internet connections in the room. Residents must bring
their own personal items such as linens for single bed, pillows, blankets,
towels, wash cloths, etc.
All students staying in housing provided by the Three Rivers AHEC

Directions to LaGrange College: Take Interstate 20 West
towards Atlanta. Take Interstate 285 West to Macon/Birmingham to I-85
South. Take I-85 South to Exit #18. Turn Right off of the exit
and on Highway 109 West/LaFayette Parkway. LaFayette Parkway becomes
Vernon Street. Go approximately 5.2 miles, through 12 traffic lights.
You will pass LaGrange Mall through downtown and LaGrange College is located
on the right just outside of the downtown square. Follow signs on
campus to the appropriate housing site.
