We are excited to know that you will be coming to Southwest Georgia for part of your clinical training.  Should you have any problems while here, feel free to contact any of the Area Health Education Center staff.

Directions to Cordele Regional Pediatrics from Augusta:  Head South on US Hwy. 1 (Dean's Bridge Road) and travel 0.8 miles until the name changes to US-78 for approximately 3.2 miles.  Take ramp onto I-520/SR-232 and take Exit 1A onto I-20 for 82 miles.  At Exit 114 turn right onto US-129 to Eatonton for 58.2 miles then take US-23 to I-16.  Take Exit 1 onto I-75 for 63.7 miles and Exit 102 and turn right onto SR-257/East 8th Avenue.  Continue heading west for 1 mile and turn right onto North Fourth Street for 0.4 miles.  The office is located at 408 East 3rd Avenue.

Check Information: 
At least one week before rotation begins, call Julie Roth or Ginette Mills at the SOWEGA-AHEC for housing/rotation check in instructions and arrangements. 

Cordele Housing Information

During the first week of your rotation you will receive the necessary paperwork in the mail for you to complete and return it in the envelope provided.

Check Out:  Please follow the procedures provided by Crisp Regional Hospital and Ms. Gale Arbuthnot when you are leaving the housing.  You must return housing keys and any items that were provided to you for your rotation.  Your grades could be held if borrowed items are not returned.
