Check In: You are to complete an orientation and obtain your hospital badge at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital on the first day of your rotation. Contact the Staff Development Education Coordinator at 706-301-5294 to schedule the orientation.
Rotation Information: Dr. K. Raza Mahmood is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He completed his Pediatrics Residency training at Columbia University in New York and has five years of primary care experience. He specializes in the management of allergy and asthma, adolescent medicine and cardiac diseases. He believes that children are not simply small adults and must be approached with an appreciation for their stage of physical and mental development. Dr. Mahmood moved to Jasper from Warner Robins with his wife and two children. His hobbies are photography, playing with his children and traveling to the mountains.
At times Dr. Mahmood might have a day off during the 6 weeks that you are scheduled to be in his office. If this occurs during your rotation, you will have the opportunity to spend some time with
other Pediatricians.
