What to do before your scheduled rotation: Students should call Laura Darnell to make arrangements for your rotation. Ms. Darnell will assist you with your orientation to the practice, hospital information as well as your schedule while in Dalton. Students are given the first Monday of your rotation for orientation at MCG, travel and housing check in. You are expected to report to your rotation site no later than 9 AM on Tuesday.

Rotation Information: White's Pediatrics was founded in 1981 as Dalton Pediatric Medical Center by Dr. Jeffeory White. Due to expansion and growth over the years, Dalton Pediatric Medical Center has grown into White's Pediatrics, with three separate facilities in Dalton, Chatsworth, and Calhoun. In 1995 Dr. White implemented a paperless Electronic Medical Record keeping system. White's Pediatrics is proud to be one of only a handful of medical offices in the northwest Georgia area to use such a sophisticated and state of the art computer system. White's Pediatrics has a main office location in Dalton and two other satellite offices located in Chatsworth and Calhoun.

Housing Information: Students in need of housing accommodations while in Dalton are provided housing by the Blue Ridge AHEC.
Check Out: Please check out with the Blue Ridge AHEC staff on the last day of your rotation. You are to return your keys, badge and any borrowed items. Your grades will be held until all items are returned.
