Welcome to the Three Rivers AHEC region of west central Georgia. We are pleased to have been instrumental in establishing these training sites for the Medical College of Georgia and look forward to your arrival for clinical training. We will strive to make your clinical experience and visit to Columbus as fulfilling as possible.

Rotation Information:  Students will check in with Bonnie Franco at The Bradley Center.  Mike Morgan will issue keys and an ID badge. 

Check In: You will check in with Bonnie Franco at The Bradley Center the morning you are scheduled to begin your rotation.  Students will pick up a key from Mike Morgan or the Security Office.  Call Hannah Lydiate at the Three Rivers AHEC to schedule key pick up.

Directions to Columbus from Augusta:  Take Washington Road to I-20 West to Atlanta.  Take I-285 West to Macon/Birmingham to I-85 South.  Take I-85 South for approximately 55 miles to I-185 South.  Take the I-185 South for approximately 45 miles. 

Directions to the Bradley Center    

   

Site Information:  The Bradley Center is a community service of St. Francis Hospital and Columbus Regional Healthcare System. Founded in 1955, The Bradley Center has established a strong reputation as a mental health carebradley center provider of choice for the people of the Chattahoochee Valley. Nestled in the quiet historic Park District in Columbus, our campus and 84-bed facility provide an excellent setting for confidential care. Services include  addiction treatment, inpatient and day treatment, support groups, respite day care and educational programs.


The Bradley Center's mission is to provide quality services to meet the emotional, spiritual and mental health needs of the people in our community through a continuum of care, including treatment for substance abuse and addiction when needed.

 

Housing Information:  Students completing rotations at The Bradley Center are provided housing on site.  Rooms are fully furnished including a small fridge as well as internet access. Students also have access to the cafeteria. The rooms are in a private area of the site and have key pad entrances for safety.

Each room has a twin bed.  Sheets and towels are provided and laundered on site.  There is one full bath and 1 half bath.

Check Out:  Check out must be done with Mike Morgan.  Students must return all keys and badges in person to Mr. Morgan before leaving the rotation.  Grades will be held until all borrowed items are returned.
