Rotation Information: Magnolia Coastlands Area Health Education Center welcomes you to Waynesboro, GA for your OB/GYN rotation with Dr. Mark Gresham, an MCG graduate. Please call Amy Sasser, Office Manager to coordinate the details of your rotation with Dr. Gresham. Dr. Gresham is on staff at Burke Medical Center where students will be expected to attend an orientation prior to rotating with him.
Check-In: Prior to beginning your rotation, please contact Dr. Gresham’s office to let him know of your arrival time. You should arrive at 8:30 AM on the day following your MCG orientation. Amy is your contact person and she will offer you an office and hospital tour.
Housing: Currently there is no AHEC housing for students completing this rotation. If you are interested in doing your OBGyn Clerkship in Waynesboro you will need to be able to provide your own housing or contact the MCAHEC to see if alternative housing may be arranged.

NOTE: If you are interested in doing your OBGyn Clerkship in Waynesboro, GA you must make plans to commute from Augusta which is approximately 30 miles from Waynesboro.
Directions from Augusta: Take Highway 25 or Peach Orchard Road south to Waynesboro. Upon arrival in Waynesboro, follow the signs to the hospital. Turn right off Highway 25/Liberty Street onto 4th Street. Turn left at four-way stop onto Jones Avenue. Dr. Gresham’s office is at the end of the street on the right. Allow 45 minutes for the trip.
Check Out: Please check out with Amy Sasser on the last day of your rotation. Grades may be held until all keys and borrowed items are returned.
