If you will be in need of the AHEC housing for this rotation you must
contact the Whitney Willis at the Foothills AHEC as soon as possible to make the
necessary arrangements. Housing is provided to students on a first come -
first serve basis.
Rotation Information and Check In:
Lynn Hatmaker will orient you to the University Health Center. Prior to the beginning of your rotation, you should contact
Ms. Hatmaker.
The University Health Center exists to advance the health of students and other members of the University of Georgia community by providing primary health care, prevention focused services, and learning experiences which develop health knowlege and skills. There are four primary health care teams composed of physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other support staff. The UHC also has specialty clinics and departments that include an allergy clinic, counseling and psychiatric services, dental clinic, dermatology, health promotion, laboratory, massage therapy, pharmacy, physcial therapy, radiology, sports medicine, travel clinic, urgent care and a women's clinic.
