Rotation Information: Prior to your arrival in Athens please take the time to review the information from the link below. There are several forms to complete and return to St. Mary's Hospital prior to the start of your rotation at Athens Neurological Associates. You can complete the forms and bring them with you when you go to the hospital for your ID badge. You will not be allowed to begin your rotation without turning in the necessary forms to St. Mary's.
If you will be in need of the AHEC housing for this rotation you must
contact the Whitney Willis at the Foothills AHEC as soon as possible to make the
necessary arrangements. Housing is provided to students on a first come -
first serve basis.
Directions to Athens Neurological Associates from the Augusta area: Take Interstate 20 west toward Atlanta. Follow Interstate 20 west for approximately 82 miles. Take the US 441/US 129 exit 114 toward Madison/Eatonton. Turn right onto Eatonton Road. Turn right onto Brooks Pennington Memorial Pkwy./US 129 Bypass east for about 5 miles. Road becomes US 129 north/US 441 north. Travel for approximately 22 miles and turn slight right onto Macon Highway. After two miles turn left onto GA 15 alternate/south Milledge Ave. Travel approximately two miles and turn right off of Milledge Avenue onto Baxter Street.
