Rotation Information: We are pleased you are coming to
Northwest Georgia. The following information will help make your stay as
pleasant as possible. Please
call the Blue Ridge AHEC office for assistance at least
TWO WEEKS PRIOR
to your rotation start date.

Orientation Process: Please see the
attached documentation below pertaining to the Student Orientation Process.
Students will not be permitted to participate in a clinical rotation unless all
requirements are met. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to

Contract/Student/Volunteer Checklist
Student Health Requirement Form
(must be completed prior to reporting for clinical rotation)
Students will be instructed to
print and bring the transcript from the orientation to the AHEC by 8:30 AM the
first day of your rotation to have it signed by the Preceptor Coordinator. From
there, they will proceed to Floyd Human Resources to have a student ID Badge
made. The following supporting documentation must be up to date and presented
upon arrival at the AHEC:
Letter of Good Standing from the School
Immunizations with current PPD
Insurance Certificate
10 year criminal background check
Directions to Dr. Rogers' Office
Check Out: Please check out with the Blue
Ridge AHEC staff on the last day of your rotation. You are to return
your keys, badge and any borrowed items. Your grades will be held
until all items are returned.
