What to do before your scheduled rotation: All students should contact Dr. Sheftel's office prior to the start of your rotation in order to make arrangements for arrival and check in to the site. Students are expected to arrive at your preceptor's office by 9:00 AM on the second day of your rotation. The first day is reserved for driving to Marietta from Augusta as well as time to handle necessary orientation procedures and obtaining your badge.
Please take the time to print and complete all of the necessary documentation no later than one week prior to your rotation. Failure to complete your paperwork in time could delay the start of your rotation. All forms must be faxed or emailed to Michelle Evans at the Blue Ridge AHEC at 706-378-3113.

Identification badges are obtained in Security Services at WellStar Kennestone Hospital Emergency Room or WellStar Cobb Hospital Emergency Room. Please contact Jackie Hayes at (770) 792-5331 should you have any questions regarding the WellStar student forms.
Rotation Information: This is a multi physician practice with an Infectious Disease (ID) focus. Your schedule will vary with time in the lab, on rounds, and taking call if you choose. Please let them know of your study and personal time needs on the first day. Please be on time and keep your preceptors aware of your learning needs and interests.
Housing Information: At this time there is no housing for students in the Marietta area. Students interested in rotating at this site must be able to provide their own housing.
