Paragraph Describing Interests:

Acute kidney injury (AKI) involves widespread renal tubular damage followed by regeneration. Molecular mechanisms underlying this pathological condition are not clear. Using microRNA microarrays, we have identified various microRNAs that are significantly altered in AKI. My work is focused on the role and regulation of these microRNAs in experimental models of AKI.
