The Medical College of Georgia currently accepts three fellows in its Pain Medicine Fellowship each year on a competitive basis. Candidates must have successfully completed or be in the last year of training in an accredited residency in anesthesiology, neurology, neurosurgery, physiatry or psychiatry to apply to the Pain Medicine Fellowship. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or on a sponsored J-1 Visa.

Applications for each academic year should be completed by September 30. If you wish to be considered for an interview, please ensure that we receive all the required documentation. To check on the completeness of your file, contact Susan Dawkins. If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta for an interview. Interviews are usually conducted from July through December.
