Immunization Policy
All entering MCG students must provide sufficient evidence of full immunization against mumps, rubella (German measles), rubeola (red measles), polio, diphtheria, tetanus, varicella (chickenpox) and hepatitis B.
Students must have had a tuberculin test within three months prior to MCG enrollment and annually thereafter.
An immunization card from Student Health will serve as official documentation.
The following exceptions to this policy may apply in individual cases:
- Student Health may grant exceptions based on medical or religious reasons. The student must provide supporting documentation.
- In cases where compliance with this policy prior to first enrollment is not feasible for the enrolling student, such as a late acceptance, the Director of Student Health may grant an extension. Students granted an extension shall be allowed to register provisionally and shall be disenrolled if in non-compliance after the provisional period.
