The Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology offers a Ph.D. degree program for those individuals seeking a career as a biomedical scientist. Our laboratories offer cutting-edge research training opportunities in a variety of disciplines, such as neuropharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, molecular biology, vascular biology, electrophysiology, and signal transduction research. Earning a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from our department will prepare you for a successful career in either academic, industrial, or government research programs.
