Educational Backgrounds Before
Dental School
Although seventeen different majors are represented within the 2011 graduating class, many of the first year students majored in a science area. There are 35 biology majors, 3 genetics majors, 1 microbiology major, 1 biomedical science major, 6 chemistry majors, 1 nutrition science major, and 1 dental hygiene major. There are also 2 psychology majors, 1 computer science major, and 3 engineering majors including one each in computer engineering, biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering. Several students majored in business, to include 2 general business majors, 2 management majors, 1 economics major, 1 finance major, and 1 risk management major.
