We will be happy to write the lab order, and refer the student to the appropriate lab depending on the student's insurance policy. X-rays are also done outside our clinic. Again, we will refer the student to the appropriate facility, depending on the student's insurance policy. Specialty clinics and specialty tests are also referred, at the discretion of the physician in clinic. We do have physicians who specialize in sport's medicine and colposcopy, but you will need to call SHS (721-3448) to schedule an appointment. Eye exams are not done in SHS. We will do a vision screening, but not a full eye exam. An appointment may be made with the MCGHI Eye Clinic at (721-2020) or at any Optometrist or Ophthalmologist the student might choose if an eye exam is requested.
