Accreditation
The Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the Medical College of Georgia is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). CAPTE accredits professional practice programs in the U.S. for the physical therapist at the master's and doctoral degree levels and programs for the physical therapist assistant at the associate degree level. CAPTE also accredits a limited number of physical therapist education programs in Canada and the United Kingdom. Historically, our graduates have scored above the state and national averages on licensing examinations and enjoyed a variety of job placement opportunities. The physical therapy program at the Medical College of Georgia consistently achieves the highest ranking among Georgia’s public institutions as published by U S News and World Report. |
