Rank:  Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track)

A twelve-month tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor is available in the Medical College of Georgia’s Physical Therapy Program. Responsibilities include teaching, university/community service and research. The preferred candidate will be a physical therapist with a minimum of 3 years of experience and an earned doctorate. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The Medical College of Georgia is the state’s health sciences university with the tripartite mission of teaching, advancing knowledge and providing patient care. The university has 2,000 students in its Schools of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Studies, Medicine and Nursing and approximately 420 residents and fellows completing advanced training in medicine and dentistry. Clinical facilities include the adult MCG Hospital, the Children’s Medical Center and more than 80 specialty clinics and centers. MCG has a comprehensive biomedical sciences research program with focuses on cancer, infection and inflammation, and neurological and cardiovascular diseases.

The Medical College of Georgia is located in Augusta, home of the Masters and a short driving distance from the historical districts of Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina.
