Physician Assistant Students Win Awards

Jason Rodwell awarded The Chairman’s Award for Excellence
Dr. Bonnie A. Dadig, EdD, PA-C presents this award to the physician
assistant student who reflects professionalism and scholarship as a
physician assistant student.
Amy Sickles awarded The Eugene Stead/John Palmer Award of Professionalism
The Medical College of Georgia Physician Assistant Department faculty
created this award in the year of 2005 in honor of Dr. Eugene Stead who is
the founding father of the physician assistant profession and in honor of
Dr. John Palmer who was the first program director. This award is presented
to a graduating senior student.
Wendy Royal awarded The Faculty Merit Award
This award was established by the faculty in the year of 2005 to be granted
annually to a graduating senior student who has performed well in the
didactic and clinical year of training. The recipient was chosen by the
faculty of the physician assistant department.
Alex Santiago awarded The Outstanding Physician Assistant Student Award
This award is given to one physician assistant student who reflects
professionalism and scholarship as a physician assistant student.
Malachi Hutto awarded The Scott Waddell Scholarship
The Scott Waddell Scholarship was established in memory of Scott Waddell, a
student in the Physician Assistant Class of 2003, by his classmates. The
purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support to a rising
senior student in the physician assistant program who emulates the qualities
that Scott possessed. These include academic excellence, compassion in
healthcare, and a willingness to serve others. |
