| Dr. Marie Collins is Department Chair of Dental Hygiene and Associate Professor in the Schools of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, and Graduate Studies. She teaches Periodontal Instrumentation, Research Design, Pharmacology, and Basic Life Support. She was the recipient of the 2005 Outstanding Faculty Award from the Greenblatt Library. Dr. Collins serves nationally as a member of the Journal of Dental Education’s Editorial Review Board, consultant for the Commission on Dental Accreditation, and director of the annual Dental Hygiene Symposium. Her publications include three chapters in dental hygiene textbooks and several refereed journal articles. At home, Dr. Collins treasures family time with her husband and 4 boys! | |

| Mary C. Downey is Associate Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences and the School of Graduate Studies at the Medical College of Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia in 1974 and her Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1976. Teaching areas of interest include dental hygiene theory and practice, medically compromised patients, clinical dental hygiene and pharmacology. Ms. Downey received the Outstanding Faculty Award for the School of Allied Health Sciences in 2002. | |

| Ana L. Thompson is Assistant Professor in the Medical College of Georgia School of Allied Health Sciences. She received her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996, her Bachelor of Science degree in 2002, and her Master of Health Education degree in 2004 from the Medical College of Georgia. Her teaching areas include dental anatomy, dental materials laboratory, radiology, and clinic courses. Her main interest is in education and in the further development of interdisciplinary research involving the Dental Hygiene field. | |

| Sue Tucker Ward is Assistant Professor and Clinic Coordinator at the Medical College of Georgia Dental Hygiene Department. Some of her duties include course director for the Dental Hygiene Practicum, Faculty Practice, SADHA Advisor (Student American Dental Hygiene Association), and President of the School of Allied Health Sciences Alumni Association. Ms. Ward also serves as a liaison between graduating students and future employers. | |

| Kathryn Miller Bennett, RDH. Instructor, Department of Dental Hygiene obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, from the Medical College of Georgia in 1975. In addition to prior private practice, her dental hygiene experience includes contributions as a hospital dental hygienist at MCG, a Public Health dental hygienist at Fort Gordon, and Manager of University Hospital Dental Clinic. She joined the faculty in 1998, and has been working closely with students during patient care clinics. | |

| Erin S. Boyleston, RDH is an Instructor in the Medical College of Georgia School of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Dental Hygiene. Mrs. Boyleston Graduated Magna Cum Laude from MCG in May 1996. She joined the faculty in 2004. Ms. Boyleston is a part-time clinical faculty and continues to work in private practice as well. | |

| Dr. Charlene A. Czuszak, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene and in the Department of Oral Diagnosis. After receiving a Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Czuszak served as a Nurse in the US Army for more than 6 years. She then attended dental school at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Upon graduation, she began an 18-year tenure with the Dental Corps, first as a General Dentist and then a Periodontist, serving in Germany, Missouri and Georgia. When not working, she enjoys playing golf. | |

| Lara Lott, RDH. Instructor, Department of Dental Hygiene. Ms. Lott received her bachelor's degree Summa Cum Laude in dental hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia in 1993. Her teaching areas include dental hygiene clinic I and II, and Community Health. She continues working in private practice on a part-time basis. She is married and has a daughter and a son. In her free time she enjoys participating with her daughter in ice-skating events and walking/hiking. | |

| Dr. Veerinder Pannu is Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia in the Department of Dental Hygiene. Dr. Pannu completed her Bachelors degree in Dentistry from Government Dental College and Hospital, Patiala, India in 1995. She practiced general dentistry and also worked as a Lecturer in Dental Anatomy and Demonstrator in Dental Materials clinic for 5 years at B.R.S Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Panchkula, India. She then attained her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2006 from The Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in Mississauga, Canada. She worked in private practice and as a clinical instructor for 1 year in the Dental Hygiene Program at The Canadian Business College in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Pannu has recently moved from Canada with her dentist husband and two daughters. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. | |

Ms. Rainchuso completed her Masters in Human Nutrition at the University of New Haven in 2006. She recently relocated from Connecticut where she taught at the UNH Dental Hygiene Program for three years. Her teaching areas include Dental Hygiene Theory and Practice and Practice Management. Her private practice experience includes Periodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry. She currently is the Secretary of the CSRA Dental Hygiene Society. | |
