The Department of Dental Hygiene is a leader in providing continuing education (CE) courses. The Department co-sponsors the Dental Hygiene Symposium which is nationally recognized as one of the largest CE courses in the nation, consistently enrolling over 400 participants from several states.

The Department also hosts a Dental Hygiene Alumni Day CE course during MCG’s annual homecoming weekend. Alumni and non-alumni from the region come to campus and earn several CE hours. Additionally, the Department hosts a Clinical Dental Hygiene Review course and co-hosts a Spanish for Dental Professionals course.
