Job Title Clinical Data SME (subject matter expert)

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of public health/health care/clinical laboratory experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, clinical data, and laboratory data
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards and compliance guidelines–HL7 & HIPAA
  • Experience with clinical terminology LOINC, SNOMED, MedDRA and UMLS
  • Experience in medical vocabulary standardization preferred
  • Must have excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills

Job Title Coding Analyst

We seek a motivated, fast-learning HIM graduate to contribute to and grow with our firm.

The Coding Analyst position will be involved in numerous facets of our operations. Notably:

  • Coding Policies: We typically work with our hospital and physician group clients to re-engineer their coding policies and guidelines, with the aim of improving revenue performance and maintaining high compliance levels. You would help to monitor and keep these policies up to date.
  • Compliance program: You will be involved in the administration of our corporate compliance regime, including keeping rack of various training events and quality samples.
  • Curriculum administration: RevenueMed trains people to code from scratch. You will assist with the on-going development of learning materials.
  • Client assistance: There are numerous instances where clients have questions relating to coding policy, at either an individual case or wider policy level. You can help research and resolve such questions.

The Candidate
This position requires a person with high levels of curiosity, solid communication skills and a passion for medical coding. While we don't require significant experience–we expect the ideal candidate might have 1-4 years of practical work experience. We DO require a keen intellect, an ability to grasp abstract concepts, a committed work ethic and strong communication skills. Our firm is headquartered in Norcross, GA. We require someone who either currently lives in the metro Atlanta market or is willing to relocate.
