Department of Health Informatics
07-08 Student Handbook

This handbook is prepared to communicate information and policy which is specific to the Department of Health Informatics (DHI) in compliance with Medical College of Georgia (MCG), School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) and School of Graduate Studies (SGS) policies. Since the English language contains no singular pronoun which includes both sexes, wherever the word "he" appears in this handbook, it signifies he/she. Likewise, wherever the word "his" appears, it signifies his/her.

Policies apply to all students enrolled in the Health Information Administration BS, the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate, and the Master of Public Health in Informatics (iMPH) Programs. In addition, students should refer to the applicable MCG, SAHS and SGS policies, as well as applicable state and federal guidelines, as provided in the Policies and Regulations section of this handbook.
